FAQ > Do Corns Have Roots?

Do Corns Have Roots?

No.  Corns have a nucleus of hard skin that is so dense it feels like a piece of glass in your foot.  Your podiatrist can remove the corn, nucleus and all, completely pain free, at your first appointment.  The trick with corns is preventing them from returning.  Corns form because of a repeated abnormal pressure.  Unless this pressure is altered the corn will return again.
