Does Medicare cover podiatry?

In most cases, no.  However, there is a Medicare funded plan that provides a significant rebate on a strictly limited number of consultations each calendar year.  This Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program is only for people with chronic conditions requiring podiatry care, as determined by your G.P.  The program needs to be implemented by your G.P. and all paperwork needs to be processed prior to your appointment in order for Medicare to provide a rebate.
Please note, these EPC consultations are not bulk-billed.
