Robert Dick

Robert completed his degree in Podiatry at the Queensland University of Technology in1991. He has a keen interest in sport and has played premier grade and representative rugby union in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, hanging up his boots at the end of season 2004. He began practicing Podiatry on the Sunshine Coast in 1992 with a well establish practice in Caloundra where he developed expertise in all aspects of Podiatry.

After travelling the world for 12 months in 1995, Robert returned to the Sunshine Coast in 1996 and established a private practice in the Nambour location that has become Footsmart Podiatry. In the past he held a position at the Nambour General Hospital Diabetic Unit and is a regular invited speaker at the Sunshine Coast Tafe College Sports Science Facility.

Rob is an accredited member of the Australian Podiatry Association and an active member of Sports Medicine Australia. He has achieved Level 1 Accreditation for Baropodemetric and Postural Assessment and Millextrix orthotic design. His special interests within Podiatry include lower limb biomechanics and computer walking assessment, Diabetic Foot care, Paediatrics, and Postural medicine. Robert’s personal interests include running, surfing, snow skiing, fishing and golf.
